Plantar Warts / Verrucas

Stubborn verruca that won't respond to at home treatment?

See how we can help

Plantar warts or verrucas are a form of the HPV virus, of which there are over 100 strains.

They are typically contracted by barefoot exposure from swimming pools, changing rooms, gym showers and hotel bathrooms.

They can be very contagious and may be quick to multiply on the foot.

Verruca Treatment

At Southminster Foot Health Clinic, we do more than simply treat verrucas—we assess the underlying factors affecting their persistence and develop a treatment plan tailored to you.

We offer both cryotherapy (freezing treatment) and specialist acid treatments, providing stronger treatment options than those available over the counter.

As verrucas can be stubborn, multiple treatments are often needed to achieve complete resolution. Throughout your treatment, we will monitor your progress, adjust the plan where necessary, and work with you to achieve the best possible outcome.
